| Flicking though various crap TV last night it occurred to me just how Reality TV has killed the imagination of a generation. There was a program on called 'Sky Cops'. Now if this were 1987 Sky Cops would be a high octane low, production values show about a team of maverick, tear up the rule book but get a result sarge, airborne police squad, led by someone with a name like John 'Hurcules' Ramsey. They’d fly harrier jump jets and swoop in on drug cartels doing deals at waterfront warehouses, and occasionally have a crazy comedy romance section where one of the team hovers outside the bedroom window of a ladyhe's trying to date. Like the A team but in the air. Ace. What Sky cops actually featured was real footage of a twat driving a moped through a field. Then falling off. I pity the fools who live with that shit. |

Sky Cops - muahahah. Me likey. I know what you mean about the reality TV shite. I watched something called 'broken Britain' which I hoped would be some kind of documentary about how Britain lies on an ancient fault line and if the earth farts we could have volvanoes in Chepstow and Tsunamis covering the isle of man. Alas, it was drunken idiots pissing in the streets of Wakefield whislt coppers played up to the camera by
quoting public order offences and chatting up drunken slags. Nughghgh, oh for an airbourne Mr T |

| I did enjoy some shite on Five about truckers driving trucks where it's cold. Some serious trucker action going on. Which led me to devise my own manly TV show - 'Fuck! What's hanging off my truck!?' Each week we follow truckers across the country, discovering what shit they hit that sticks to their truck. After a while we can introduce Celebrity 'Fuck! What's hanging off my Truck?' Then take it off the air and replace it with Sky Cops. |
